This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role where you’ll shape the future of child and adolescent mental health services across the district.
As Service Manager - CAMHS, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across community and intake services, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and evidence-informed care for children, young people, and their families.
You’ll lead a passionate, multidisciplinary workforce while partnering with clinical and operational leaders to deliver real, lasting outcomes for the community.
About the Role
In this pivotal leadership position, you will:
Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality mental health services
Drive service performance, governance, and compliance with state and national standards
Oversee workforce, budget, and resource management to meet operational targets
Provide expert advice and leadership on clinical and operational matters
Build strong partnerships with internal leaders and external stakeholders including NGOs, PHNs, and community organisations
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and compassionate care
This is a district-wide role based in Newcastle, with travel required to support teams across the region.
