You’ll work alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team, delivering care that improves outcomes and empowers patients to live more comfortably, confidently, and independently.
What you’ll be doing
This is no ordinary podiatry role – it’s diverse, rewarding, and community-focused. You will:
- Support older adults through the Commonwealth Home Support Program, helping them stay safe, mobile, and independent in their own homes.
- Take your expertise on the road with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, delivering podiatry care to regional communities across New England, including Inverell and Moree. (Some rural travel and overnight stays included!)
- Work within New England Community Aged Care Services (NECACS) – a dynamic team of Physiotherapists, OTs, Aboriginal Health Workers, Nurse Practitioners and more, all committed to delivering person-centred care where it’s needed most.
Why you’ll love working here
Base yourself in Tamworth, a vibrant regional city offering:
- Affordable living, great schools, and modern amenities.
- A rich lifestyle – from the buzz of the Tamworth Country Music Festival to weekends exploring national parks or relaxing in the local café scene.
- A connected workplace culture, with regular team catch-ups and even an annual trip to AgQuip, Australia’s largest agricultural field day.
About you
We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for people and community. You’ll be a great fit if you are:
- Experienced in managing high-risk foot conditions.
- Organised, proactive, and confident with documentation.
- A team player with strong communication skills.
- Empathetic, patient-focused, and committed to aged care.
- Flexible and adventurous, with a willingness to travel for rural outreach.
This isn’t just another job – it’s a chance to shape healthier futures, strengthen communities, and find the perfect balance between lifestyle and career.
