About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for the role of Safety & Quality Coordinator. In this position, you will coordinate, implement, and collaborate with team managers and multidisciplinary teams across Singleton Health Service to ensure excellence in quality and safety service systems, maximising health outcomes for patients.


As a Safety & Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
  • Implementing and monitoring systems to ensure high-quality patient care while minimising risks
  • Participating in patient safety and quality education programs
  • Coordinating the orientation and ongoing education of staff on continuous quality improvement
  • Ensuring services align with the National Patient Safety and Quality Standards, the Work Health & Safety Act, and the NSW Health Risk Management Frameworks
  • Engaging in data analysis, incident reporting, and process improvement activities

We’d love to see you apply if you have:

  • Strong understanding of healthcare practices and clinical processes
  • Experience with quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Leadership and teamwork skills to facilitate change and engage stakeholders
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and accreditation standards


Essential criteria:
  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration. 
  • Eligibility to drive in NSW.
