You will play a vital role in caring for patients as they recover from surgery
This is a fast-paced, rewarding acute care environment where no two days are the same, and your skills make a real difference in patients’ surgical journeys

 

 

About The Opportunity

In this role, you will provide specialised post-anaesthetic care, closely monitor patients and support a safe and smooth recovery. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring vital signs and patient recovery status

  • Managing pain and identifying potential complications

  • Administering medications as required

  • Collaborating with surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses, and allied health teams
     

You’ll be part of a close-knit multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, communication, and shared decision-making. While patient care is often one-on-one, you’ll always have strong team support around you throughout your shift.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Committed to patient-centred care and continuous learning

  • Post-graduate clinical experience in operating theatre/procedural unit nursing in an acute hospital setting.
