About the role
As an Oncology Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role within our multidisciplinary team, delivering compassionate, patient-centred care to individuals with malignant solid tumours and other oncology-related conditions. You will provide evidence-based nursing care that supports positive health outcomes while assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care in close collaboration with patients, families, and the wider healthcare team.

This unit operates Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm and is closed on weekends and public holidays, offering a balanced schedule in a rewarding and specialised environment. You will receive strong support from our Oncology Nursing Unit Manager and dedicated educators.

About you
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse who brings:

  • Recent, hands-on clinical experience in Medical Oncology (essential).
  • Proven expertise in administering cytotoxic medications, with a strong commitment to undertake supported training to achieve and maintain full competency in this specialised area.
  • A collaborative approach, demonstrating compassion, adaptability, and a strong commitment to patient-centred care.
  • High computer literacy and sound knowledge of health information systems.



Essential Requirements

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
