About the role:
John Hunter Hospital (JHH) Physiotherapy is seeking dynamic, adaptable, and motivated Physiotherapists Level 1/2 who are passionate about delivering safe, high-quality, and person-centred care. In this rewarding role, you will utilise your strong communication, time management, and organisational skills to provide physiotherapy services across John Hunter Hospital (JHH), Rankin Park Centre (RPC), and Belmont District Hospital (BDH).
The JHH Physiotherapy Department is committed to excellence in patient care and values the contributions of every team member. In addition to servicing JHH, RPC, and BDH, the department also supports a secondment program to John Hunter Children’s Hospital and regional and rural sites across the Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD) to enhance service delivery and workforce planning.
You will work as an integral member of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, providing care that supports patients through every stage of their healthcare journey. To support your success, you will have access to a comprehensive training and competency program led by a dedicated team of senior physiotherapists and physiotherapy assistants. Ongoing education, professional development, and participation in research are strongly encouraged and supported.
Physiotherapists may be required to participate in the JHH Physiotherapy rotational and secondment program, and contribute to weekend, on-call, and public holiday rosters to ensure the delivery of consistent, high-quality care.
Please note: Interviews will be held in person at John Hunter Hospital, with dates to be advised. While virtual interviews may be considered, face-to-face attendance is strongly preferred. Once interview dates are confirmed, alternative arrangements will not be offered.

Requirements:
Our successful candidate will possess the following:
- Physiotherapist with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
- Current NSW Driver's License with willingness to travel for work purposes.
