As Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll lead a range of services, including Community Nursing, Wound Management Clinics, Specialist Palliative Care, and more, all while collaborating closely with other services such as Aged Care, Mental Health, Child and Family Health, Physiotherapy, and several outreach providers. You'll be an integral part of a diverse and supportive environment, dedicated to providing exceptional care to our community.

As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will:
- Allocate patient workloads and manage nursing staff schedules.
- Ensure equitable rostering that meets staff contracted hours while staying within budgetary constraints.
- Maintain HealthRoster and ensure staffing is accurate and up-to-date.
- Monitor and manage stock levels and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Organise staff education programs to meet skills and competency requirements.
- Conduct performance development reviews for direct reports.
- Attend monthly accountability meetings with the Generalist and Aged Care Service Manager.
You will be a current Registered Nurse with AHPRA who:
- Has strong leadership skills to coach, mentor, and empower a team
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Is highly organised with demonstrated time management and problem-solving skills
- Has strong computer literacy and experience using relevant healthcare applications
- Fosters a collaborative approach to providing patient-centred care
- Is self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
