About the Role

As part of our team, you will:

  • Triage referrals from GPs, NGOs, families, and external organisations

  • Connect consumers with local Mental Health Community Teams

  • Provide assessments in Emergency Departments and via telehealth across northern regions

  • Conduct virtual assessments alongside Police and Paramedics in community and home settings

  • This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to work at the forefront of mental health crisis response.

 

Support & Growth

You’ll join a multidisciplinary team including Clinical Nurse Specialists, a Transitional Nurse Graduate, and experienced Mental Health Clinicians dedicated to mentoring and shared learning.  We provide a comprehensive orientation and education package that covers most of the required learning for the service. This package is primarily selfdirected, allowing you to work through the material at your own pace.
