About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Handyperson covering the Inverell Hospital, Inverell Community Health facility and external sites of Ashford, Tingha, Warialda, Bundarra and Bingara.

You will be responsible for:

  • Completing scheduled preventative maintenance
  • Maintaining grounds and gardens
  • Performing minor repairs to furniture and fittings
  • Assisting trade staff and completing basic trade-related tasks (e.g., painting, welding, carpentry, mechanical, plumbing)
  • Supporting fleet management, store deliveries, furniture transportation, and function setup

You’ll work both independently and alongside a supportive team of skilled tradespeople and admin staff. Full orientation, on-site training, and ongoing online education are provided.


About You:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Confident with computers and maintenance software
  • Previous experience in groundskeeping, general maintenance, or handyperson work
  • Current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel between sites
  • Knowledge of Work Health and Safety procedures
