We’re hiring Hospital Assistants – Catering, join our dedicated Patient Support Services team within the Hunter New England Local Health District.
Renumeration: $29.06 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging
Employment Type: 3 x Permanent Part Time
Hours Per Week: 20-36hrs per week

As a Hospital Assistant (Catering), you’ll play an essential role in supporting patient care by delivering high-quality food services. You will be rostered within the Calvary Mater Hospital and the Mental Health Centre and will contribute to patient wellbeing by ensuring meals are prepared, handled, and delivered with care, hygiene, and attention to detail — in accordance with Food Safety standards.

About You
- Must be available to work all rostered shifts of 6am-2.30pm and 11.30am- 8pm including weekends and public Holidays.

Experience in a hospital or aged care food services environment.

Strong understanding of Food Safety practices and WHS principles.

Effective communicator with a commitment to customer service.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet service needs.
