HealthOne Quirindi delivers integrated primary and community health services, combining General Practice, Community Health, and visiting services. With a focus on health promotion, early intervention, chronic disease management, and coordinated care, the service works collaboratively to meet the needs of the Liverpool Plains community. You’ll join a supportive team of health professionals in a friendly and relaxed rural environment, committed to improving local health outcomes.
About the role:
As the GP Practice Nurse, you’ll be instrumental in providing timely access to quality primary healthcare services. Working within a multidisciplinary model, you will deliver nurse-led and GP-directed activities including immunisation, wound care, chronic disease management, health assessments, health education, triage, clinical risk identification, and recall management. Your work will ensure continuity of care for patients of the GP practice, supporting their health and well-being through proactive and coordinated service.
About you:
You are a skilled and compassionate nurse with strong primary health care experience. You work well both independently and collaboratively, managing competing priorities with professionalism and care. A commitment to person-centred care, excellent time management skills, and the ability to adapt within a multidisciplinary team are essential.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Current authorisation as a Registered Nurse Immuniser
- Eligibility to drive in NSW
