Your Impact

This unique dual-role position combines healthcare support with hospital security, ensuring patients, staff, and visitors feel safe, supported, and cared for. You’ll be a vital part of the team, helping the hospital run smoothly every day.

Your duties include:

  • Patrolling, responding to alarms, and monitoring access
  • Assisting patients with mobility and personal care
  • Maintaining infection control and cleanliness
  • Using safe manual handling techniques
  • Staying calm and confident in emergency situations
     

We’re looking for people who are calm, caring, team-focused, flexible with rotating shifts, and hold (or are willing to obtain) a Class 1A Security Licence.

To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
