About the Role:
We are seeking a Finance Administrator to join the Business and Performance Unit within Hunter New England Mental Health. This integral role provides a range of administrative and finance support functions that enable the effective delivery of mental health services across the district.
Working closely with the Finance Manager and a team of dedicated finance professionals, you’ll gain valuable insight into the workings of a large mental health service, exposure to diverse administrative and financial functions, and opportunities for professional growth and career progression.
In this role, you’ll:
- Provide administrative and finance support to the Mental Health Service.
- Assist with financial processes, documentation and reporting.
- Work collaboratively with the finance team to deliver efficient and effective service.
- Gain exposure to a wide range of administrative tasks within a dynamic health environment.

You are an enthusiastic, organised and detail-oriented administrator with an interest in finance. You bring strong communication and problem-solving skills, thrive in a team environment, and take initiative in your work.
