About the Role
You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
This position will provide high level administrative and secretarial support to the Head of Department (HOD) and Department of Neurosciences and assist with all aspects of running the unit as outlined by the HOD. This includes provision of effective and efficient secretarial services; interaction with senior management within and ensuring effective, efficient and compliant operation of the Department to maintain and enhance the Department's high standard of service provision.

Ideal Candidate
- Experience in providing secretarial and administrative support at an executive level and/or relevant qualifications.
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to liaise with a wide range of health professionals and staff (internal & external) across various sites.
- Highly developed computer skills with a demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
