About The Role:

Join our Surgical Services team at John Hunter Hospital and support the smooth operation of our fast-paced Cardiothoracic and Vascular Ward (F3). This is an exciting opportunity to work with a supportive multidisciplinary team in a dynamic hospital environment.

Monday to Friday 08:30am - 5:00pm 

As a Clinical Support Officer, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure efficient ward operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with rostering, recruitment, and workforce processes

  • Managing data entry, audits, and documentation

  • Coordinating education activities and My Health Learning tasks

  • Reception duties and responding to enquiries

  • Supporting clinical staff to help deliver positive patient outcomes

You’ll work with systems such as Health Roster, Staff Link, iProcurement, ChemAlert, Smartaviewer, IPM and more, and assist with tasks including safety walks, follow-up calls, filing, storeroom organisation, and preparing death packs.
