Position Overview – Nephrology Clinical Service Unit (Job Share Role)
This position is based within the Nephrology Clinical Service Unit, working closely with. Two other Administration Assistants. A multidisciplinary team of Doctors, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals
Key Details:
- This is a job share role with fixed working days: Monday and Tuesday only (please note: these days are non-negotiable)
- The role involves a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support the unit’s operations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performing a high volume of clinical typing with accuracy and efficiency
- Answering telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately
- Managing and updating digital medical records
- Providing general administrative support to the department as required
- Ensuring timely and effective communication across the clinical team
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- A proactive and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- The ability to think on your feet and adapt to a dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivation and the ability to work without direct supervision
