Position Overview – Nephrology Clinical Service Unit (Job Share Role)


This position is based within the Nephrology Clinical Service Unit, working closely with. Two other Administration Assistants. A multidisciplinary team of Doctors, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals


Key Details:

  • This is a job share role with fixed working days: Monday and Tuesday only (please note: these days are non-negotiable)
  • The role involves a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support the unit’s operations


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performing a high volume of clinical typing with accuracy and efficiency
  • Answering telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately
  • Managing and updating digital medical records
  • Providing general administrative support to the department as required
  • Ensuring timely and effective communication across the clinical team

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to think on your feet and adapt to a dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work without direct supervision
