About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across a range of clinical settings. In this role, you will provide effective physiotherapy services to patients and their families/carers, supporting optimal health and rehabilitation outcomes.

You will work as a senior clinician within a supportive Physiotherapy Department, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists and administrative staff. The role involves providing clinical services and professional guidance within a team of approximately 10–20 staff.

Your primary clinical focus will be across the surgical ward, fracture clinic and outpatient services, including hand therapy, with some flexibility across other service areas as required.

As part of the Physiotherapy Department, you will receive regular supervision from senior colleagues and your line manager. Ongoing professional development is strongly supported, with access to departmental in-services and encouragement to attend relevant external education and training opportunities to further enhance your clinical practice.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will be a self-motivated and compassionate physiotherapist who is comfortable working autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment. You will demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will bring sound knowledge, skills and experience across surgical, orthopaedic and outpatient physiotherapy settings. Experience or additional training in advanced casting techniques and the fabrication of thermoplastic splints will be highly regarded.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in Physiotherapy with current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
