About the role

Step into a dynamic Physiotherapist Level 1/2 role where no two days are the same. You’ll deliver hands-on care to inpatients on a busy medical ward, managing a varied caseload and working alongside a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team - including senior physiotherapists, medical and nursing staff, allied health professionals, and discharge planners.

You’ll play an active role in multidisciplinary and family meetings, helping shape patient-centred care plans and deliver compassionate, evidence-based interventions that make a real difference.

Beyond the ward, you’ll also build your skills in an outpatient setting, treating a diverse mix of orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and women’s health clients, as well as contributing to a falls prevention group program.

You’ll be supported every step of the way with structured supervision, a comprehensive orientation, and ongoing clinical guidance from experienced senior physiotherapists. Regular in-services across the Lower Hunter sector will keep your learning and professional growth on track.

Where you’ll be working

Join the close-knit Physiotherapy team at Kurri Kurri Hospital, a 26-bed facility providing care to the Lower Hunter community. You’ll work with patients transferred primarily from Maitland Hospital, giving you exposure to a broad and interesting caseload.

While part of a small on-site team, you’ll be connected to a larger network of physiotherapists and allied health professionals across the Lower Hunter - offering strong peer support, collaboration and development opportunities. This is a supportive environment that genuinely values your wellbeing, growth and contribution.
