Hunter New England Health is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Business Analyst – Audiovisual / Virtual Care to play a pivotal role in advancing audiovisual, telehealth and unified communications solutions across our district.

In this senior role, you will work in close partnership with clinicians, ICT teams, vendors and key stakeholders to analyse business needs, translate requirements into robust technical solutions, and ensure HNELHD remains at the forefront of virtual care innovation-supporting high-quality patient care and workforce collaboration.

About the role

Reporting within the ICT and Digital Health portfolio, you will provide expert business analysis and advisory support across audiovisual and virtual care initiatives, including audio, video and web-based conferencing platforms.

You will be responsible for ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose, scalable, secure and aligned with NSW Health and HNE policies, while delivering an exceptional customer-focused service.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis activities for audiovisual, telehealth and unified communications initiatives across HNELHD
  • Engage with clinicians, business users and technical teams to capture, document and validate requirements
  • Analyse user needs and technical specifications to design sustainable, contemporary virtual care solutions
  • Support the implementation of new and replacement audiovisual and conferencing systems through consultation, project coordination and vendor liaison
  • Provide expert advice on system capabilities, constraints, risks and opportunities
  • Act as a key liaison between ICT, vendors, eHealth and local health services to improve service delivery and user experience
  • Promote and model behaviours aligned with the HNE Health Values Charter, Excellence Framework and Closing the Gap strategy

About you

You are a senior-level business analyst with strong experience in audiovisual, unified communications or virtual care environments. You thrive in complex healthcare settings and are confident engaging with both technical and clinical stakeholders.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience working with enterprise audiovisual, videoconferencing and unified communications systems
  • Strong understanding of underlying network technologies and system architectures
  • Proven ability to analyse, document and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience supporting ICT service delivery, system implementation and vendor engagement
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, collaboration and negotiation capabilities
  • The ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment

Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in ICT, business analysis or unified communications will be highly regarded.
