About the role
Muswellbrook Hospital is looking for enthusiastic and innovative Registered Nurses to join our Dialysis and Infusion teams. In this role you will provide high-quality, holistic care while working closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team that values collaboration and patient advocacy. This position offers variety and the opportunity to expand your scope of practice, with potential to work across other areas of the hospital depending on your experience and interests.
About you
Registered Nurse with current registration with AHPRA.
A passion for delivering high-quality, holistic patient care.
Compassionate and patient-focused, with the ability to advocate for patients.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Experience in chemotherapy administration and completion of the Cancer Institute NSW eviQ Antineoplastic Drug Administration Course (ADAC), or willingness to complete.
Experience in haemodialysis nursing.

Specialised oncology training - Infusion unit orientation is provided onsite with our Oncology Educator, with ongoing support from the Cancer Care Coordinator and Cancer Services team.

About the team
Muswellbrook Hospital is a friendly and supportive rural health service where teamwork and learning are part of everyday practice. Our Dialysis Unit is a 6 chair service operating six days a week, while our Infusion Unit is a 4 chair service operating Tuesday to Thursday. Our nurses work closely with experienced educators, clinical leaders and medical staff, with a medical officer available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It’s a place where you’ll be supported to grow your skills, build confidence across specialties and truly feel part of the team.
