You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment alongside experienced administration officers, clinicians, and managers who value collaboration, professional growth, and high-quality service delivery.

Where You’ll Be Working

This position will be based in Taree and forms part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, working closely with a supportive administrative team, skilled clinicians, and the Aged Care management team.

About the Role

As an Administration Officer Level 3, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Non-Clinical Single Assessment (Regional Assessment) Service, ensuring the smooth coordination of aged care assessments and associated processes.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Arranging car bookings
  • Assisting the broader administration team as required
  • Undertaking general administrative duties to support service delivery

This role requires a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy healthcare environment.

About You

You are an enthusiastic and capable administration professional who brings initiative, reliability, and a strong sense of accountability to your work. You will demonstrate:

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • A proactive and professional approach to work
  • Confidence communicating with clients, clinicians, and external stakeholders

What We Offer

You will receive training and ongoing support from experienced Administration Officers who will actively encourage your development and progression toward independence in the role. Online training through My Aged Care will be required to support the demands of the position, along with self-directed learning to remain up to date with changes to the Aged Care Act and related processes.

You will be well supported by fellow Administration Officers, Clinicians, the Nurse Unit Manager for the Single Assessment Service and Transitional Aged Care, and the Manager for Aged & Generalist Care Services, within a collaborative and supportive working environment.
