Logistics Officer

1. Demonstrated organisational, planning and coordination skills with the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines in a high volume work environment
2. Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment and to adapt to new work practices and monitor and assist with the development of procedures.
3. Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills, including interpersonal, liaison and negotiation skills with the experience and skills in data entry, database interrogation and reporting.
4. Knowledge of or experience of warehouse functions and stores operations, inventory and warehouse management, particularly in relations to receipt and dispatch of goods, stock control, picking and packing of pharmaceuticals, stocking shelves, putting away stock and other warehouse duties
5. Good understanding of stock counts including annual and period cycle counts
6. Possession of a NSW Class 1 driver’s license and a current Workcover Forklift drivers Licence with a good driving record and a knowledge of the Sydney metropolitan Area.
7. Experience in using Oracle R12, Excel, Microsoft Word applications and accuracy in Data Entry.
