What you'll be doing
 

The Physiotherapist will provide specialist physiotherapy assessment, intervention and clinical support as part of the First 2000 Days multidisciplinary team, delivering patient-centred care to paediatric and women’s health clients and their families.

How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible by selecting APPLY NOW below:

  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), with a minimum of 3 years post graduate experience.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in Paediatric Physiotherapy and Women’s Health Physiotherapy, including the assessment and management of various clinical presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver Physiotherapy Services in Hospital, Community Health settings, private residences and outreach locations.
  • Strong communication, documentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams, CAFN, Midwifery and Paediatrics, GP’s, community NGO’s
  • Experience in education and support of patients, families and carers, including the ability to build capacity within Paediatric teams.
  • Current unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence, and willingness to travel across the Far West LHD to deliver care, with possible over night stays.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervision experience, including the ability to support junior staff and contribute to strategic planning and service improvement initiatives. Ability to actively participate in the planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting on programs.
