What you'll be doingProvide specialist assessment and interventions for children and adolescents (0 to 17 years) and their families
Provide clinical leadership, participate in quality improvement activities and provide training and education to multidisciplinary clinicians of the CAMHS and Safeguards services to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.

How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Psychiatrist and/or overseas trained specialist Psychiatrist eligible for the specialist pathway.
- Royal Australian and New Zealand Collage of Psychiatry Certificate of Advanced Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience as a specialist child and adolescent Psychiatrist.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
- Valid unrestricted drivers' licence for use in Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment, including overnight stays as required.
