About the Opportunity

As Senior Project Manager within SDPRIA, you will lead the planning, delivery and oversight of medium to complex digital health projects aligned with the state-wide rollout of the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR).

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a transformative program impacting patient care across NSW by driving digital health solutions using established methodologies like PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile and ITIL. You’ll work with experienced teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to quality standards, while aligning with NSW Government and NSW Health policies.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery for complex ICT/digital health initiatives.

  • Oversee risk, quality, budget and timeline control across multiple workstreams.

  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to other project professionals within the team.

  • Ensure projects are aligned with ICT operational frameworks and broader government policies.

  • Support continual improvement processes using ITIL v3 disciplines.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has extensive experience leading large-scale technical projects in complex organisations.

  • Brings a strong track record in risk, issue and resource management within ICT environments.

  • Has in-depth knowledge of ITIL v3, with a focus on Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement.

  • Holds relevant Project Management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile).

  • Demonstrates excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels.

You will succeed in this role if you:

  • Enjoy working in an environment where no two days are the same.

  • Are motivated by tight deadlines and problem solving on the go.

  • Can juggle multiple priorities while staying calm and outcome focused.

  • Thrive when collaborating with others to deliver results in a fast-moving space.
