About the Opportunity
As a Senior Digital Health Analyst within the Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority (SDPRIA), you will support the design, configuration, testing and delivery of digital health solutions across NSW Health, with a strong focus on Epic clinical systems. Partnering closely with clinicians and key stakeholders, you will translate complex clinical workflows - particularly within Ophthalmology and Orthoptics - into safe, effective and scalable digital solutions.
This role provides the opportunity to contribute to large-scale digital health transformation, working across multidisciplinary project teams to implement and optimise Epic solutions. You will utilise tools such as Epic Kaleidoscope, structured testing frameworks and agile backlog management to enhance clinical workflows, improve patient safety and drive service efficiency across the health system.
In this role, you will:
Lead the design, configuration and implementation of Epic clinical solutions, with a focus on the Kaleidoscope Ophthalmology module.
Translate complex clinical workflows and technical concepts into clear, plain-language advice for clinical and non-technical stakeholders.
Facilitate design governance, stakeholder workshops and working groups to define future-state workflows and system requirements.
Support system testing activities including configuration testing, defect management, issue investigation and resolution.
Contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned, risk identification, backlog management and enhancement prioritisation.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has tertiary qualifications in Health (Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Health, Health Information Management) and/or extensive experience working in a public healthcare environment.
Brings familiarity with Ophthalmology and/or Orthoptics clinical workflows to support the configuration and testing of the Epic Kaleidoscope – Ophthalmology module.
Demonstrates proven experience implementing digital health initiatives in clinical settings, with a strong understanding of health processes, workflows and models of care.
Is confident engaging with clinicians and technical teams, influencing outcomes and building trusted, collaborative relationships.
Thrives in complex environments, applying strong analytical and organisational skills to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced digital health setting.
You will succeed in this role if you:
Enjoy working in an environment where no two days are the same.
Are motivated by tight deadlines and problem solving on the go.
Can juggle multiple priorities while staying calm and outcome focused.
Thrive when collaborating with others to deliver results in a fast-moving space.
Take initiative and act proactively to anticipate challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
