About the Opportunity
As a Digital Health Analyst in the Outpatient Workstream within our Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority (SDPRIA), you will be part of a high-impact digital health transformation – helping design and implement one of Australia’s largest healthcare technology shifts.

You will support the design and rollout of SDPR solutions for outpatient and community care by capturing requirements from frontline NSW Health services and translating them into compliant, user-centred digital designs. Working closely with project teams, clinicians, consumers and community providers, you will contribute to co-design and consultation activities and support testing, validation and user acceptance to ensure solutions meet the needs of diverse populations and care pathways beyond the hospital setting.

This role offers the opportunity to help shape how NSW Health delivers digital outpatient and community care solutions within the SDPR program. Working with leading digital platforms including Epic’s electronic medical record system, AWS cloud infrastructure and extensive cross-sector stakeholder networks, contributing directly to improving patient access to safe, connected care across NSW.

In this role, you will:

  • Translate frontline community healthcare needs into digital health requirements that inform SDPR configuration, ensuring community care workflows are robustly represented.
  • Work collaboratively with clinicians, community staff, consumers and technical teams to design, document and validate digital health solutions.
  • Support testing and user acceptance activities for SDPR components targeted at community and outpatient settings.
  • Develop and maintain clear business and technical documentation that underpins solutions and future operational readiness.
  • Engage in stakeholder and community consultations, amplifying consumer experience insights into system design and delivery.

About You
We are looking for someone who:

  • Brings tertiary qualifications in Health (Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Health, Health Information Management) and/or extensive experience working in a Public Health Care setting.
  • Demonstrates strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, influence outcomes and co-design solutions with clinicians, patients and care partners.
  • Has a sound understanding of health processes, community care workflows and models of care, and can translate these into high-quality digital solution requirements.
  • Is experienced in digital health implementation or testing environments, including preparing documentation and supporting user acceptance testing.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, large-scale transformation program, balancing competing priorities while working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Is committed to community- and consumer-centred design, with an appreciation of diverse populations and varied health service contexts.

You will succeed in this role if you:

  • Enjoy working in an environment where no two days are the same.
  • Are motivated by tight deadlines and problem solving on the go.
  • Can juggle multiple priorities while staying calm and outcome focused.
  • Thrive when collaborating with others to deliver results in a fast moving space.
