About the Opportunity
Be the tech behind the team - as an Application Support Specialist of our Oracle Applications Support Team you'll play a crucial role in supporting the systems that keep our statewide operations running smoothly. You'll deliver enterprise-grade techno-functional support across a sophisticated Oracle ecosystem, providing expert second-level assistance for escalated issues from business stakeholders.
In this collaborative role, you'll work closely with HR Business Partners, Functional and Technical teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure the stability and performance of our Oracle HCM Cloud applications - including Core HR, Talent Management, Performance Management, and Taleo.

In this role, you will:
- Provide techno-functional support on recruitment lifecycle issues across Taleo and Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC).
- Maintain and troubleshoot approval workflows (BPM tasks) in both Core HR and ORC.
- Write and debug SQL queries to support issue analysis and ad-hoc data requests.
- Support Taleo Connect Client (TCC) and ORC integrations with Core HR or third-party systems
This role is internally referred to as Senior Digital Specialist - Workforce Applications.
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
- Extensive hands-on experience in Oracle HCM, including Core HR, and Taleo (TEE) OR Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), spanning both implementation and ongoing support.
- Experience with configuring and supporting Oracle Redwood features and the Oracle HCM AI Agent (including setup, user enablement, and troubleshooting) will be preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in functional support, issue resolution, and expert in troubleshooting Core HR and Recruiting lifecycle issues, including workflows, data errors, and process breakdowns.
- Proficiency in using SQL, HDL (HCM Data Loader), and TCC for data correction, mass uploads, and validation activities.
- Skilled in maintaining and troubleshooting OTBI, BI Publisher, and HCM Extracts for operational and compliance reporting.
- Strong experience in managing user roles, security profiles, and resolving access-related issues across HCM and Recruiting modules.
- Hands-on experience in regression testing, impact analysis, and issue resolution during Oracle Cloud quarterly updates and patches.
