- Extensive experience in the provision of policy advice in a complex environment, including relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of policy and legislation impacting on NSW Health incident management and delivery of health services.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in undertaking all stages of the policy cycle (design, development, implementation and evaluation).
- Highly developed writing and analytical skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret highly complex information from numerous sources, exercise independent judgement in a dynamic interagency policy environment, prepare and present analysis, reports, and draft policy.
- Highly developed interpersonal, verbal communication, influencing and negotiation skills with extensive experience consulting and engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Superior organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with proven capacity to lead and manage highly critical and complex projects.
- Proven capacity to develop and implement complex strategic initiatives, including the capability to plan, manage change, and improve performance to meet business objectives.
