About the Opportunity
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of Aboriginal children and families across the Central Coast. As a Registered Nurse within the Ngaliya Ngara Aboriginal Family Service, you will provide culturally safe, family-centred care that supports the health, development and wellbeing of Aboriginal children aged 0–5 years and their families.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide comprehensive child and family health assessments, monitoring growth, development and wellbeing from birth to 5 years of age.
- Deliver evidence-based health education, nursing interventions and early support to parents and carers to promote positive health and developmental outcomes.
- Coordinate care, referrals and follow-up services to ensure families are connected with the supports they need.
- Facilitate community education and health promotion activities that strengthen family capacity and support child wellbeing.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, schools and community partners to provide holistic and coordinated care for Aboriginal children and families.

About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about improving the health, wellbeing and developmental outcomes of Aboriginal children, families and communities through culturally safe and family-centred care.
- Holds current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and has experience working with children and families.
- Enjoys building trusted relationships with parents, carers and communities while supporting families to achieve their health and wellbeing goals.
- Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and values coordinated, holistic approaches to care.
- Demonstrates strong clinical judgement, communication and organisational skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement.
