At Central Coast Local Health District, our vision is simple and powerful: Trusted care. Better health for everyone.

Join a team where precision, teamwork, and patient recovery come together. Our Orthopaedic Inpatient Unit provides specialised post-operative care for patients undergoing joint replacements, trauma surgery, and complex fracture management. With a strong focus on pain control, early mobilisation, and wound care, this is the perfect environment for Registered Nurses who thrive in a hands on, fast paced setting.

We have a temporary contract and a permanent position available in this inpatient unit.

This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks’ notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.
