About the Opportunity

As a Registered Midwife  Antenatal Services, you will provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to expectant mothers from early pregnancy through to the lead-up to birth. Your role will support women and families with assessments, education, planning, and monitoring, ensuring optimal outcomes and empowering women to make informed choices.

In this role you will:

  • Deliver antenatal care, including assessment, education, and support in both clinic and Day Assessment Unit (DAU) settings.
  • Conduct comprehensive midwifery assessments and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement individualised care plans.
  • Identify and respond to changes in maternal or fetal wellbeing, escalating concerns as required.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and provide documentation in accordance with NMBA standards and CCLHD policies.
  • Support a culturally sensitive and positive experience for all women and families in your care.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Holds current Registration, or is eligible for Registration, as a Registered Midwife (Division 1) with AHPRA and meets Recency of Practice Standards.
  • Has recent clinical experience in midwifery, including acute antenatal care and obstetric emergencies.
  • Demonstrates strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Works collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team and can effectively prioritise workload.
