About the Role

As CNC, Infection Prevention & Control, you’ll be the clinical lead and subject matter expert, providing consultancy, leadership, and education across a broad range of services. You’ll guide safe, evidence-based care and help shape future-focused infection prevention strategies aligned with NSW Health frameworks.

You’ll work across domains:

  • Clinical Leadership – shape and evaluate infection prevention practice and policy
  • Education – empower staff through targeted education and expert support
  • Research – initiate, lead, and translate research into practice
  • Governance – contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and quality systems

This is not just a compliance role, you’ll be leading innovation, influencing culture, and embedding best practice at all levels of care.

 About You

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated leadership in policy, education, or service development
  • A passion for collaboration, quality improvement, and continuous learning
  • Strong knowledge of risk frameworks, clinical governance, and accreditation standards
