The Consultation and Assessment Team of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Social Worker, Psychologist, Registered Nurse, or Occupational Therapist to provide professional clinical services to young people under 18 years old experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges. Be part of a dynamic team that offers expert consultation, assessments, and support to young people and their families in a collaborative, family-centered approach.
This role is suitable for the following:
- Counsellor Level 1 / Counsellor Level 2
- Occupational Therapist Level 1 / Occupational Therapist Level 2
- Psychologist
- Registered Nurse
- Social Worker Level 1 / Social Worker Level 2
- Welfare Officer Level 1 / Welfare Officer Level 2
About You
- You have current degree qualification/s and AHPRA registered in either Nursing or Psychology or Occupational Therapy, or Degree qualification in either Social Work or Social Science, current Australian Driver's License and post graduate experience working within a Mental Health or Child and Adolescent Mental Health service.
- You have experience working within a crisis intervention model of care.
- You have demonstrated knowledge of and sensitivity to the mental health needs of children and young people (5 to 18 years) and their families
Where You’ll Be Working
You will be based at Tuggerah Business Park however may be required to travel across the Central Coast Local Health District.
