1. Applicants should be a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners and/or have other specialist recognition as provided for in the Visiting Medical Officer Determination.
2. Experience working in a field where proficiency in the assessment of common gynaecological conditions is required, examples include (but are not limited to) General Practice, Sexual Health, Family Planning, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Emergency Medicine
3. Willingness to undertake District certification which includes ECAV Graduate Certificate in Medical and Forensic Management of Sexual Assault or ECAV MF1405 Introduction to the Medical and Forensic management of adult sexual assault.
4. Availability to participate in the after-hours sexual assault roster with a minimum of 4 shifts per month including at least one weekend shift.
5. Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
6. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
7. Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain this licence.
8. Demonstrated understanding of how the district is Caring for the Coast and how this role would contribute
