Staff Specialist Paediatrician - Violence Abuse and Neglect (VAN) Services - CCLHD - Apply via eCredential

•    Medical Practitioner registered or able to be registered in Australia, inclusive of an unrestricted or 19AB exempted provider number, and recognised specialist qualifications, Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Paediatrics and Child Health Division and / or other equivalent specialist

•    Appropriate knowledge and clinical experience to practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in child abuse and neglect including child sexual assault. 

•    Ability to work constructively and effectively in a Multidisciplinary team environment and with a wide range of stakeholders, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

•    Demonstrated understanding of and ability to respond and advocate for patients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.

•    Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and experience in initiating and implementing changes to improve clinical service delivery and outcomes, models of care, evidence based practice and practice development.

 
•    Demonstrated willingness and ability to lead and provide clinical supervision including the ability to provide education, vision and research would be viewed favourable.

•   Demonstrated commitment to Caring for the Coast vision, goals and strategies, with demonstrated behaviours which align with the NSW Health CORE values and CCLHD Values and behaviours charter, and how it applies to the Prevention and Response to Violence Abuse and Neglect Framework (NSW Health – PARVAN Framework)
