The Hospital Assistant supports the delivery of an efficient and effective catering and cleaning service to the patients and facilities within the Health Service
The successful applicants will need to be to be reliable, punctual and energetic, physically fit, have a caring and supportive attitude and use good communication skills to be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Remaining calm in emergencies and the capability to handle equipment such as wheelchairs, beds and other medical equipment is also valued.
In a small, close knit team you will be well supported and your dedication will be seen and appreciated. You will be an integral member of the community and you’ll see not only the results of your care, but the appreciation of the community of the role you play in their health.
This position is managed by Downer on a day-to-day basis. You will have the ability and willingness to work shifts, on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays. The successful applicants will be physically based at Orange Health Service, a part of the Western NSW Local Health District.
