About the Opportunity
As a Registered Nurse you will provide a clinical Staff Health Service to the staff of Central Coast Local Health District within the portfolio of Workforce Services.
The position supports the organisation in the prevention and management of workplace exposures and promotes general preventative health strategies to all staff. In this role you will:
Practice as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Assist current and prospective workers in gaining compliance with NSW Health Immunisation Policy.
Screen prospective workers in conjunction with the recruitment department.
Manage workers with blood and body substance exposures, hand/skin issues and screening for occupational exposures within the workplace.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Current Authorised Immunisation Certificate or willingness to complete within 3 months.
Demonstrated clinical experience in staff health or interest in staff health.
Committed to teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.
Commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
