We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Midwives to join the Central Coast Midwifery Group Practice, delivering high-quality, women-centred care within a continuity of care model.
This position is open to full-time - Permanent, part-time - permanent, or fixed-term appointments. Applicants are also welcome to apply for future opportunities.
About the Opportunity
As a Registered Midwife, you will provide safe, compassionate, and person-centred maternity care across the continuum of pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will support women and their families through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of midwifery care.
This role is essential in delivering high-quality maternity services while supporting positive health outcomes for women and their families.
In this role you will:
- Deliver high-quality, women-centred care within a midwifery continuity of care model.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate midwifery care to meet the individual needs of women and their families.
- Respond effectively to changing clinical situations and maternity emergencies.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care plans, progress notes and referral processes.
- Contribute to quality improvement, professional development, research and mentoring initiatives.
- Respect the rights, cultural values and dignity of all women receiving care.

About You
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate midwife who is committed to delivering safe, evidence-based maternity care.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Registered Midwife (Division 1) with AHPRA and evidence of meeting Recency of Practice standards.
- Recent clinical experience in midwifery across the continuum of maternity care.
- Current competency in venepuncture, cannulation and perineal repair.
- Strong communication skills including written, verbal and use of information technology.
- Understanding of Midwifery Group Practice and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to prioritise workload and respond effectively in dynamic clinical environments.
- Commitment to professional development and delivering safe, patient-centred care.
