We are excited to invite applications for permanent part-time and full-time Dietitian Level 1/2 positions within the Clinical Dietitian Team. These roles are exceptional opportunities for passionate and dedicated dietitians to work with other clinical dietitians, dietitian assistants and the multidisciplinary team to provide clinical nutrition care to inpatients and outpatients of CCLHD with a range of clinical conditions and diagnoses.

About the Role

You will primarily be responsible for the nutrition care of hospital inpatients, working alongside the dietitian assistants and nursing staff to ensure nutrition care plans are in place. You will be involved in quality improvement projects both within Nutrition Services and with the multidisciplinary team, supervision of student dietitians and participation in multidisciplinary clinics. 


You will have access to individual and group clinical supervision and be supported in ongoing learning and development.

Wyong Hospital is seeking to fill a permanent part time role of 15 hours per week.

Gosford Hospital is seeking to fill a permanent full time role of 38 hours per week.

About You
  • You have a Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics that provides for full membership of the Dietitians Australia.
  • You have a current driver’s licence and ability to travel across sites within the District and to other external sites as required.
  • You have an understanding and application of population health and health promotion principles, alongside knowledge of evidence-based practices, for developing successful nutrition programs.
  • You have effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. You must be able to adapt your communication style to suit different audiences and convey information in a clear, engaging manner.
