Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) has an exciting opportunity for Clinical Psychologists within Child and Family Health. This is a great opportunity to show case your skills and make a real difference in the provision of services to the Central Coast Community.
About the Opportunity
In this role, you will provide specialised psychological services to preschool and primary school aged children and their families. The position focuses on supporting children experiencing difficulties with emotional regulation, social skills, and behaviour, while also conducting psychometric assessments for diagnostic clarification in preschool aged children.
In this role you will:
- Develop individualised treatment plans to deliver evidence-based therapy interventions to children and their families.
- Conduct comprehensive psychometric and diagnostic assessments whilst working collaboratively within the Child and Family Health multi-disciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold professional standards of care.

About You
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about paediatric mental health and early intervention.
You will have:
- A four-year degree in Psychology and a two-year Masters degree or higher in Clinical Psychology from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Current full registration with AHPRA Psychology Board of Australia with endorsement in Clinical Psychology, or eligibility to enrol as a Clinical Psychology Registrar.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in paediatric psychology, including relevant assessment tools and therapeutic interventions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to child safety, family-centred practice, and continuous professional development.
