About the Opportunity

As a Client Services Officer, you will be at the heart of a dynamic, multi-site mental health service, supporting young people, their families, and carers as they take their first steps toward support. You will combine strong administrative skills with empathy, professionalism, and initiative in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

If you have worked in a youth or mental health setting, you already understand that every interaction counts. This role is more than administration, it is about creating a safe, supportive first impression and helping young people feel seen, heard, and connected. In this role you will:

  • Be the first point of contact, providing warm, respectful, and confidential support to young people and their networks while ensuring they’re connected to the right services.
  • Deliver high-quality administrative and reception support across multiple locations, maintaining efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Coordinate office systems, reporting, and data management to keep processes running smoothly.
  • Use initiative and sound judgement to prioritise competing demands and collaborate with a diverse team to achieve the best outcomes for young people.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience working in a youth and/or mental health setting, with a strong understanding of the needs of young people and their support networks
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage empathetically and professionally with people in distress
  • Strong administrative and organisational capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • The confidence to use initiative and sound judgement to respond effectively to complex and competing demands
  • A genuine commitment to supporting young people, contributing to a safe, inclusive, and strengths-based service environment
