We’re looking for a Mental Health Worker to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Team – a service dedicated to providing trauma-informed, recovery-focused care that supports the whole person. About the Role
Deliver holistic, trauma-informed support – Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, assertive outreach, and intensive case management for young people experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges.
Partner with families and communities – Work closely with carers, schools, headspace, and local agencies to create wraparound, family-inclusive care that strengthens support networks.
Empower and inspire young people – Offer therapy, crisis intervention, and comprehensive assessments while building playful, creative, and empathetic relationships that foster resilience and self-expression.
Thrive in a supportive team culture – Join a close-knit, multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, camaraderie, and fun, while being recognised for excellence in carer and family experience

About You
Degree qualifications in area of specialty, and maintenance of all professional registration required to practice, including but not limited to APHRA with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
Current Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to work from various locations around the district.
This position is graded for the following:Occupational Therapist Level 3
Clinical Psychologist
Senior Psychologist
Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2
Clinical Midwife Specialist Grade 2
Social Worker Level 3
Welfare Officer Level 3
Counsellor Level 3
